The fasting of the Sakat Chauth of Magh month will be observed on Tuesday, January 10, in 2023. The Chaturthi Tithi falls on January 10 at 12:10 pm and comes to an end on January 11 at 02:32 pm. On the other hand, Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga will start at 07.15 am and continue till 09.01 am. Worshipping of Lord Ganesha in the evening during Pradosh period is highly beneficial. The time from 6 pm to 7:30 pm is the best period to invoke the god and will be the ideal time for worshipping the deity. Sakat Chauth Worship Method

On the day of Sakat Chauth, one should wake up early in the morning and take bath, wear clean clothes. To worship, those aspirants have to install the idol of Lord Ganesha on the northeast side. First of all one should spread a red or yellow colored cloth on the post. Then they should go on for taking a pledge of worship and fasting with folded hands with fervent appeals in front of God.

After this the women should keep fast for the whole day.
